Randy ... NOT My understanding of affiliate programs is that you get your cut of 5-15% only if the customer makes a purchase on the direct transfer from your site to theirs ... if you link out of the merchant's site, say to compare a price, and then link back, the chain is broken ... and certainly future visits to the merchant are not part of the loop ... think of it ... if that were not so, the BFL's of this world would just offer some incredible giveaway for a few weeks for linking down to merchants and buying some trinket ... thereafter, that would be a BFL customer, even if they later went direct to Barnes & Noble and bought the store ... 10% please? ... I think NOT.
