This is a wash for AOL. ATHM has 350,000 subscribers vs 15M for AOL. There are 45 AOL subscribers for every one ATHM subscriber. This will not change significantly for another 2-3 years. Put your worries aside until 2001. If anything, this might be bad news for XCIT in the long run, in that it is a gamble for them.

As far as NSCP, it is about eyeballs and aggregation.

Don't worry, AOL is fine, and is just starting.
