Quite right Flatman ... that did constitute pretty decent news ... even I am surprised that the share price has not bobbed much above 20 cents pre- 10:1 split ... I would have thought that a significant move onthe ad side of the business where the revenue model is more established, would have made a bigger splash ... the market appears very wary ...

Flatman, back this up with fact:

You said : <<What did BFL do during Xmas? 9th overall in sales or something like that. >>

I thought I recalled 9th overall in something (advertising spent?), but show me where it was sales ... happy to acknowledge if right ...

Flatman, to follow up on your non-factual hype, where you said;

<<What did BFL do during Xmas? 9th overall in sales or something like that. >>

No, as I stated, 9th over all in advertising, which is an expenditure, not sales which are revenue. Careful which side of the balance sheet you are hyping.:

Quote << NetRatings said the top 10 holiday advertisers for the
weeks of Dec 13 and Dec 20, 1998, were:

Dec. 20, 1998

1.CatalogLink
2.LowestFare
3.MSN Shopping
4.eBay
5.1800 Flowers
6.Barnes and Noble
7.Garden.com
8.Egghead
9.Brandsforless.com
10.CD Now>>

Because of the business model for BFL which generates a maximum 5-15% return from an affiliate program, before expenses, the payoff from advertising for a BFL is far less than for an Amazon, where markups are richer … but even they have not figured out how to make money yet … make no mistake about it though, BFL has to advertise … their entire franchise value is tied up in recognition of the BFL name … the business model is transportable and there are no barriers to entry …
