Tip, IBM's financing activity is a major part of their business and eps. It is one of the main reason their debt is growing to the Moon, as they use their high credit rating to lend money to those with lower credit ratings. The reasons CHS would go to IBM are two in nature: 1. They offered a lower rate because IBM doesn't understand that the channel is in deep kimshee. 2. They figure, as a major distributor of IBM hardware, they will not get dunned excessively if things go sour for awhile. MB
