Things are looking glum. Inability of Amazon to mount any kind of rally in the face of a NASDAQ 100+ point rise over two consecutive trading days bodes poorly for E-commerce stocks. To make the situation worse, no rally off the typical buy-on-the-dip theme ubiquitous of Amazon.

Regardless, best to all on this crap shoot. The end of the day will provide a lot of insight into Amazon's future.

Cheers,
Bob

Tim,
AMZN is in a downtrend and has been for several days and probably will see continued erosion of the price. The turn around was the day some shorts announced they were giving up their position. Amateur investors are usually wrong so I took that as a sell signal, the price was 176 +/- and has moved sharply down. The road to the bottom isn't straight and rallys will take place but caution is advised here if you are long. If you are a trader then it's an opportunity to take some money out of the market.

Wild open and selloff this morning due to short covers and then profit takers, IMO. A
rebound as I am currently seeing will show real strength.
Looking to close 150+

Good luck to all,

Trend is clearly down.
