I was thinking maybe a sign of a top? Look at Merrill Lynch, with "supposed" great earnings, but they were well down year over year.
The Exite buyout deal is another one to look at. Nothing changing hands except stock. That is telling. A lot of high flyers looking real weak. Not saying there is no money to be made, just the opposite.
Small caps are still a buy, the only real value left....
