Hope you're right. Thanks for the link. I enjoyed the story, it just seems to me that Hawkins wasn't that far off the mark -- his scenario just played out on the internet and not on interactive cable. But interactive cable may well be the future of the internet -- if the merger of AT&T and @Home bode anything for the future.

The problem was not with Trip's vision, it was with Sega and Matsushita's vision. Both got clobbered by Sony and along with them, 3DO. Had either one taken the M2 and run with it, they could have clobbered the Sony and Nintendo.
