CSCO seemed to go for it with Stratacom and did a great job of integration when they decided they needed their technology. It may be that the TLAB technology is no worth the price of admission as it would be for more the present than the future. However, if accessing the quite lucrative ILEC market is important to CSCO master networking plan, TLAB would give a large immediate foothold and allow a quicker integration into IP where CSCO could sow its strength. Not to mention make LU and NT sweat bullets. Voop
