One of the advantages of this thread is that you aren't restricted to buying PTEC. There are several other stocks in the portfolio to choose from. Mark B. should open an investment company or mutual fund in Denver (i.e. "Evergreen" or "Coors", etc.) and everyone on this thread can invest in it. The goal is to beat Intel's portfolio manager(s) and the S&P 500.

Here's some data security competition

VLSI Partners With 3Com to Provide Data Security From the Desktop to the Network
VLSI Data Security Chip To Be Designed Into 3Com Products Including Popular Network Interface Cards

VLSI is up 8% and 3Com is up 5% after the announcement. Intel is talking about adding encryption to the processor. Should data security be provided by the system software (Phoenix), processor, or NIC? Or, some combination of the 3?
