I respectfully disagree. Please read the press release carefully. biz.yahoo.com "Under the agreement, VTC will provide electronic commerce by recommending books on their sites and referring visitors to Amazon.com. In return, VTC will earn referral fees of up to 15 percent of the sales they generate, the company said. Amazon.com will handle the secure online ordering, customer service and shipping." If VTCO is 'recommending books' then they are providing a service that complements the purchase process and therefore, it serves the benefit of both companies by helping to market the merchandise. There is no reason otherwise to do this unless it is profitable IMO.
