This is a bad day! I had a good rant on time, the lack of market response to all the news, Vodafone and all that, written up and by mistake did a spastic click on Refresh instead of something else and thereby deleted it all... So getting up at 3am was a waste of time - the markets didn't open until 4 am due to stupid daylight savings. Q! should invent Webtime and put it on the pdQ along with "CURRENT PRICE IS..." so we all know what the time is all the time everywhere. A more useful standard than ITU effort on 3G. aa.usno.navy.mil Q! must have time really pinned down because they need to know the time everywhere for Globalstar and terrestrial cdmaOne. They use GPS so they could put it right there on our pdQ. No more wondering what the time is. Farmers' cows could go to the milking shed later if they want to sleep in in winter. Children could start school earlier in summer. Businessmen, who are really good at "time management" if you believe their jargon, would be able to start work when they liked and make appointments on Webtime, thus not getting confused by daylight savings and time zones. People would know that the new millennium, starts 1/1/2001, not at 1/1/Y2K. NZ and everywhere would get the millennium bug at the same time instead of us being used as a guinea pig while yous in the USA sit back for nearly a whole day waiting to see what happens to us before you decide whether to take that flight, eat that hamburger or drive your car. Meanwhile, Q! down a dollar. Microsoft up due to WirelessKnowledge announcing Resolv [I know, I know, it would have gone up anyway]. Q! down despite all the good news about Vodafone etc etc blah blah blah. I'll go sulk for the day... or at least enjoy a beautiful sunny summer's day making a turtle pond instead of watching the stupid screen do stupid things... Mquarkce PS: Maybe I'll have a bonfire and burn Ramses' Effigy.
