LG - I sold 14 lots of 5000 shares today that I bought Friday. Sadly, E-Trade have only executed 13 and one is left hanging. Can these people count ??. Do they have a system ??. I too have been on the phone for over 2 hours ..... after getting busy signals. They really are hopeless.

Instead of calling them, just place a limit short order. If they do not have the share, their system will reject the order and the phrase will be: you don't have enough shares in your account, etc, something like that.
