We get paid for waiting! <at last!> but the action over the past week was definitely that of accumulation. This morning made the third attempted push down and when they all failed quickly - it looked as if something were up. It will be interesting and fun to watch the upside target speculation from here.

ed.....

the leak ...
doesn't surprise me
& it would also account for the muted trading.

<< Looks like Ampex will need either more sales, more debt or more equity.>>

More equity by all means - and hoping here they find themselves in an excellent position to issue it before too very long. I will admit my particular investor's dream for this company transformed from present or "soon to be" revenue streams

DST is too good for its own good...great product but they will never sell enough to become a growth company - and simple storage companies seldom get much of a price to sales bonus in capitalization

to the sale of ideas ... of a vision of potential. Increased near term sales would be nice...hoping for them ... but the best way for them to rapidly clear the balance sheet and fund development of now diverse potentials is timely use of a burst in enthusiasm in the market. Seems to me they have taken a very positive step in that direction. And the contributors on this board have done a wonderful job of beginning to flesh out many of the possibilities . They have another story to tell now. Hope they sing it on the rooftops.

If Ampex's strategy for the development of world wide web-based activities is implemented, it is likely that significant expenses would be incurred which could cause the company to report material losses in future periods.

Fantastic! This is the one key ingredient missing in order to value this stock as an internet stock. True internet stocks can not be profitable. 300 here we come. <G>
