Hey, Malc, Here's a little food for thought. The easiest and most effective way to maintain and/or improve the "public health" is by providing clean (read; that post-filtered) water. If people can drink, cook and clean with sanitary water, a majority of the common communicable diseases go away. China's total population is projected at 1.3 Billion by 2000. Using mail marketing percentages, if you achieved a 2% response from that population, at a buck apiece, you'd be talking about $26,000,000.00 in sales. Obviously the price will be higher than a buck, and the percentage may be a little lower; but the POTENTIAL is sizable. It's also a Procter & Gamble-style (consumable) repeat business. And, this is only one division of all the licenses Largo is actively pursuing; while money from the LPG operations is already rolling in. At a dime a share - LGOV's a heckuca deal! FYI: 2. Renewable Resources Inc. and LGOV are in final negotiations for the exclusive marketing and distribution rights of water filtration systems in the People's Republic of China. This low-cost water filter with the ability to treat and kill germs will be introduced into China during the first quarter of 1999. The filter has been tested and approved for treatment of some of the most notoriously contaminated water in the world. The filter system will retail at approximately 1/2 of the least expensive water filter currently available in China. Most filters do not have germ treatment capability. The filter will treat approximately 2000 gals. and save the customer approximately 3900 RMB/ $ 500 USD over available systems. Filters will need periodic replacement and will also be available at a low cost. Largo Vista will introduce the filters to their existing LPG customers and to LPG pipeline customers and other distribution networks of which Largo Vista is a part of in China. Sales demand is projected to exceed production capacity quickly. This will lead to eventual manufacturing of the filter housing in China while continuing to import the patented filter from the United States.
