bp,

Nope. I guess it is Jan.27, next Wednesday.

Someting interesting from SI fellow member: BillyG.
This proves the Internet market is thriving. This solution
by Boca/IGST "seems" to be more expensive than ESST's solution...

IGST CyberPro5050 Multimedia Processor Powers BocaVision ST2001
State-Of-The-Art Internet/Information Appliance

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 18, 1999--

Offers Enhanced Multimedia Features Than Web TV Plus Type Set Top Boxes

IGS Technologies, Inc. today announced that its industry leading set top box Multimedia Processor,
CyberPro5050, has been designed into Boca Research's (NASDAQ:BOCI) BocaVision(TM) ST2001, the next
product in its family of Internet and information appliance/thin client computing devices.

The BocaVision ST2001 was demonstrated at the IGST Suites and Network Computer Inc. (NCI) booth at the
just concluded Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. This demonstration highlighted the full
multimedia capability of CyberPro5050 through Video-on-Demand (VOD) services over the ST2001 set top
box with MPEG-2/MPEG-1 and Dolby Digital (AC-3) audio streaming over the Internet.

The BocaVison ST2001 will provide users with a single solution for all home infotainment (information and
entertainment) by browsing the Web, sending/receiving e-mail, performing personal computer functions, and
playing DVD titles as well as audio and video CDs, along with VOD capability. The product is scheduled for
broad-based beta testing in the first quarter of 1999, and volume shipments are expected in the second
quarter.

"BocaVision ST2001 is the first internet/information appliance set top box that uses the rich multimedia
features of CyberPro5050 including alpha-blending of video and graphics on TV," said Mike Raghavan, senior
director of marketing at IGS Technologies. "With our CyberPro5050 providing the best quality video, text and
graphics of TV, VOD and internet web pages, we believe that BocaVision ST2001 will offer users a new level
of infotainment experience in the home with far more features than set top boxes similar to Microsoft Web TV
Plus."

"BocaVision ST2001 will set the standard for home infotainment," said Tom Elowson, director of marketing for
thin clients at Boca research. "This is made possible using the CyebrPro5050 as the multimedia Processor
that does the video and audio processing."

In addition to CyberPro5050, the performance features of the ST2001 include: a high-speed Cyrix
MediaGX(TM) processor, V.90/56K built-in modem, RAM expansion from 8 to 64MB, flash from 2 to 8MB,
PCI bus, room for DVD/CD-ROM and hard drive, a parallel port, dual CATV cable-ready tuner, full video and
audio input and output including S-Video.

Using NCI's TV Navigator software along with the Oracle Video Server and Sigma Designs' REALMagic
MPEG-2 decoder, the ST2001 achieves full motion 30 fps streaming video with an easy-to-use Web-based
interface. This enables any Telco-ADSL, satellite, or cable systems provider the ability to provide to their
customers on-demand movie channels along with new interactive video services in a user-friendly,
manageable package.
