So it seems, from what I've read so far.

FWIW, for those interested, from what I recall from my own research and conversations with Jerry at SPTA last year, the Spartaject busulfan technology was developed by the same person responsible for developing the oral busulfan regime for leukemia in the 70's that ended up saving saved so many people's lives who had leukemia back then - Dr. Louise Grochow.

There have been some pretty reputable and renowned folks/institutions involved with this project. The SPTA thread here on SI has been dead for some time, but if you're interested, I've been posting most of SPTA's news since last spring.
