I don't put too much trust in any 'gurus' either. They are all human, as are we. A lot of what I know about market timing though, I learned from Granville. He may not have caught the whole bull run of the last 8 years, but he knows market psychology.

He was perhaps the best technician around during the up and down 60's and 70's. That is exactly when you need to time the markets most- in those up and down type of markets. It has appeared to be that type of market for the last couple of years (and may continue to be).

Something odd ..

been watching the trin all day long and I've also been watching the trin on the NDX:

All day long the trin on the NDX has been slightly higher than on the DJIA ..

Any guesses why so much money can be taken out of the NDX and it still be heading north for the day? Seems to me like it's being hollowed out.
