For anyone wanting to enhance their p&f skills, one avenue I strongly suggest taking is ordering one of Chartcraft's long term chartbooks (Chartcraft just published their annual yearly Long Term chartbook which I received on Monday, and they publish a quarterly book which covers all stocks with underlying options which is due to be published in the beginning of February over three weeks.). You can then update as many or as few charts as you'd like to follow, and can draw in trendlines to your hearts delight. Mark 'em up like crazy. Extend those trendlines as I do as far as the chart will allow me. Highlight the different support and resistance lines. Make notes for yourself. There's nothing like the experience of getting a feel for a stock's p&f chart while updating it by hand each day or weekly. When a stock runs into resistance after you've drawn in a Bullish Resistance Line, you'll gain the added confidence of knowing you applied your p&f skills correctly. This will make you a better chartist. I'd consider the cost, around $50, to be money well spent as an essential part of a chartist's p&f education.

Have a great day, everyone.

Bruce

Point and Figure University..

Just started. The PnFUniversity at DWA. This will take you through concept and advanced Point and Figure Methodology.

They just started this site so things are still being created and loaded. Go to dorseywright.com and if you are a member, log in, click on the PnFUniversity icon and away you go. If you are not a member, you may sing up for a two week free trial and check it out.

It would probably be helpful to have the book "Point and Figure Charting" by Tom Dorsey while going through the University (Amazon.com)

Have fun!
