Mowa,

Re: I like the sound of your set-up. Which flat-panels did you go with, and how much? I have been looking at the SGI flats ($2000, and down the road).

I wanted to go with the IBM 16in panels as they provided 1280x1024 resolution. Could not find them available anywhere at a reasonable price. Best price on net was $1634, but they were backordered and had no idea of when they would be delivered. A nice monitor though.

Ended up going with Viewsonic VPA-150 15in monitors providing 1024x768. As I was going to use them primarily for graphics, I decided that the lower resolution would be okay for my purposes. Best price on net was Buy.com at $878 each. Actually, a couple other companies might have been a couple dollars cheaper but my prior satisfaction with Buy.com led me that route.

From "The Elite Trader" site, I saw others had used the ATI Xpert98 cards with success and at $57 each from Buy.com the price was right.

I'll advise the thread how the set-up works out.
