Yea, that Nixon thing. Is it a cosmic coincidence that two guys named Nixon have gotten into impeachment trouble in the last 20 years? How many Nixon's are there in the world? What are the odds?

Nah, it's easy when the Chief Justice presides over the impeachment trial, his lifetime appointment under no scrutiny whatsoever. Rehnquist's not so bad as Bush's "best man for the job", though. That other one's lifetime appointment has a lot longer to run. Thomas never gave Roe v. Wade a thought, nosirree. He had no opinion on the matter. He said that under oath, you know.

Some one told me that Ruff is claiming that federal judges should be held to a higher standard than Presidents because judges are not elected. Hard to believe this is the best they've got. Have to verify that.
