re: monitors

I would go with whichever offers the better deal

Agreed.

I finally got off the reburb merry-go-round after numerous broken promises, mis-information, lack of call backs, carrots on a stick.... etc...etc.

I got up yesterday and said 'This is the day I buy a monitor'. Late last nite I ordered a Nokia 445XI Plus from Buy.com for $768.95.

Buy.com charges shipping but still comes in under anyone else's monitor prices even those with free shipping. The Nokia 445xi Plus is their newest and cheapest 21'' but still refreshes 1280x1024 @ 100 Hz. Its also less $$ than Viewsonic P/G/PT, Sony 520gs, Hitachi 811 by $100+ and I'm kinda glad those liquidators screwed up for so long so I could partake in these great buy.com prices. Under $800 for the low end of high end manufacturer 21'' monitor? Couple months ago I was gonna pay that for a refurb... and think I was getting a deal<G>
