Fair enough, you are right about the nets. I would not feel that it was manic, simply too speculative and too richly valued. I originally invested in msft when it's pe was 20, and I caught csco in the low 20's, and avoided INTC years ago with a pe of 18, when it's average had been 12-15 before, therefore I am uncomfortable. I believe we are setting up for a good sized correction in the nas, and it is needed. These corrections don't have to be brutal. If msft pulled back 15% over 6 months while it's growth is 20% in that time, that is quite a good sized correction.

I like yahoo as a positive internet model and we can probably agree that it is a media company, and not a technology company. A great company, but very expensive, even at 250.
