It seems to me that a company doing a large volume in sales may just have a better crack at getting better deals.. I think getting you better deals depends on how well they search. PTVL impressed me last year when I decided to fly to Orlando from San Jose at the last minute for Thanksgiving. Everyone was either fully booked or wanted around $1200. PTVL got me and my girlfriend there for $340 each, roundtrip, by routing us through Salt Lake City on Delta, an airline I would have not even thought of using. I have been monitoring FLYR for a while and jumped in this morning at $6.50 on a pure internet play. So far I'm happy with the results.
