I saw a Salon person on This Week with Cokie Roberts once. I dont remember the context however. I may have missed Drudge, Ill give you that. My take on Drudge is that he reminds me a little of the early days of Geraldo Rivera. The man is bigger than the news he reports, thats the problem. Theres a place for that but its not the same place that the real news comes from. The Clinton Love Child thing was a real blunder - talk about trash "journalism".

Yes, Bill, we all know how Drudge has become your hero. What a guy, can't be bothered maintaining the high journalistic standards of the supermarket tabloids he got his last "story of the year" leak from. Your kind of reporter, eh, Bill?
