Nope, can't believe how dead is the thread!
I expected some more traffic by the close.

The press says T benefits from TCI,
which has a big ownership of ATHM which bought XCIT.

Happy with the $7 move.
Ker-ching!!

George

I think it has more to do with Supreme Court rejecting to hear local bell companies lawsuit to enter the long-distance phone business

Interesting that the widest held stock in America goes up 7 and there are 4 posts, which is normal. Seems nothing much excites T holders one direction or the other. The most recent high activity here came with the TCI announcement when all of the naysayers said it would be disaster for T. Since they disappeared it has been relatively quiet as T blasts off.

The combo of Supreme Court announcement and Excite announcement had a very positive impact on T in an otherwise neutral market today. It may be reasonable for T to act as an internut stock as they certainly are moving towards the technology of tomorrow (cable) until the next level comes along.

While I am enjoying the ride we seem to be getting ahead of ourselves, unless we can begin to value T like the outrageous nets.
