victor,

I do not believe that normal trades for people like yourself would be activated for any aftermarket pricing gyrations. It is my belief that the aftermarket is only used by the BIG guys with special accounts. It is also my belief that the only way for you to trade after 4pm EST is to open an account with a Pacific Exchange brokerage who (I believe) trades through to 4:30 EST.

FWIW, I do believe that CPQ will open tomorrow above 50, therefore if there is no way of you stopping your sell order, you will be filled (cash in) at or about 49 3/4.

It is your choice, your money ... I wish you the BEST !

Michael

If your order was not executed at 4.00PM EST, then regardless of what the price of stock is after that time, your order simply was not executed. And you can either keep your order or cancel it. If Schwab sells your shares after 4:00PM EST, you can in fact sue them! However I am most certain Schwab has not done such a thing!

The after hours trading is for the really really really big guys. If you grab every cent of all SI members on all threads and put them together, they do not amount to even 1/10 of what these big guys have.

Addi Jamshidi

YOU WON'T GET FILLED IN THE AFTERMARKET UNLESS YOU'RE BROKER IS PLANING ON TRADING ELECTRONICALLY VIA INSTINET, ETC...WHICH IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY UNLESS YOU HAVE A LARGE BLOCK TO TRADE. BESIDES YOUR BROKER WOULD HAVE TO TELL YOU IF YOU WERE SELLING IN THE AFTERMARKET. CPQ LOOKS GOOD. REAL GOOD! LETS ALL HOPE THE ALMIGHTY GOD KEEPS HIS MOUTH SHUT TOMORROW.

With a probable 'gap-up' tomorrow (due to the MSFT release), you may be better off that it didn't fill. Is your order a GTC? If so, it may get filled at the open -- at a price lower than you may get after the open.

Hard call, so don't take my advice, but if it were me, I'd cancel the trade and wait till the open before I decided to sell
