Remember, ALTR doesn't have Virtex, at least not yet.

L.B.:

XLNX is gaining 1 percentage point per quarter in CPLD market share, according to Wim Roelandts. Guess who they're getting it from?

L.B.,

My opinion for what it's worth is XLNX is the better play due to stronger product cycle over the next few quarter's. Now, as you know you can almost throw darts at these two, as well as many other's in the sector when the outlook is strong. So although the two usually move in tandem, I would personally expect to see XLNX widen the gap over the next few years! They'll probably sell it off if it gap's big tomorrow, but if your in for a trade for tomorrow, I would expect them to run ALTR more than XLNX! And I totally agree with you that ALTR will beat the number as XLNX did!

Kevin
