i think asnd bought stratus to bolster there ip and not their pocketbook. lu (and others ) are *not* looking for cash on cash revenue (if that were the case, they would buy utility companies). instead, asnd represents a nice package of technology delivered in a palatable form. it is even possible that asnd got a better deal on stratus than lu could have since asnd is small and lu big. also, asnd may have an easier time passing the HSR acts and other anti trust matters at a lower cost.

in short, i see asnd (and lu) gapping down such that asnd is about 75. after that, the *smart* money will pick asnd back up and it will eventually rocket away to 100.

I think people are forgetting about the revenue numbers. A 63% increase in revenues is nothing to sneeze at. Cheers

Steve, ASND's CFO doesn't play that game. No way, no how. If the street didn't like this deal, you would have known about it last week.
