From biz.yahoo.com, going back to June 1998, insider buys = 378,117 and sales = 6565. Net = 371,552 buys.

If you take out Par's big purchase, there's still a net 22,974 bought since June 98. I even counted the "Planned Sales" which often never result in real sales.

Remember, board member or not, not everyone has money to invest. And not everyone invests in the stock market. After all, why go to the trouble of getting a broker when you are accumulating share options as part of an incentive or employees plan?

Actually looks better than most companies that I've checked. Shouldn't read too much into insider trades.
