Steve: <OT> > However, if one wants bribery, consider campaign "contributions" In that case the entire US government should be impeached (and in particular the Republican party in the government since according to the documents they received 75% more in contributions by big businesses than Democrats)! > If he had murdered Paula Jones instead of denying her her civil rights the argument would still be... It is said that human beings can come to believe in that which they keep repeating (even though it may totally be just a fantasy)! Republicans keep referring to Paula Jones's law suit as a civil rights matter. Exactly what civil rights of Ms. Jones was violated?! Assuming Clinton did in fact exposed his penis to her and asked her for sexual favors (!), exactly how did Ms. Jones suffer in her career, or in her social standing as a US citizen??!! The judge in the case threw out her case stating even if her allegations were true she suffered absolutely no harm what so ever, and her career and/or social standing was in no form of shape impacted negatively by Clinton's alleged exposure! In any event, this is not the place to discuss this but I could not help it after reading your twisting of facts and the republican way of interpreting that which is the truth!! The Republican party of the late 1990's as defined by Bob Barr, Hyde and the rest of the 13 house managers has turned into a 1942 Nazi party. It is truly sad. I was a registered Republican of many years. But after watching the judiciary committee passing the articles of impeachment I switched to an independent inclined strongly to support the President. Did you notice all republicans in that judiciary committee being white, Christian men all lawyers, while the democrats included blacks, women, whites, and even a gay. You tell me, in the late 1990's which party represents the American society?! Best Regards, Addi Jamshidi
