On the matter of Elliot Wave analysis:

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I would not call it complete voodoo, but I would never let it dominate my investment thinking. I doubt that people like Warren Buffet or Rainwater use this type of analysis.

Anybody who must be 100% sure the bottom is in before he buys, will always buy way above the bottom.

I've found that wearing a foil-lined cap while trading is the best way to deflect all those pesky e-waves... <ggg>
