:)) not that i know what i'm talking about, but i think a nice upside surprise in the drive earnings dept. is in store. (maybe not as dramatic as seg but who knows) and of course there's the dlt earnings that are there. so yeah, there's a good chance for them to make .30 if not more. last q loses were less than expected as it is so the momentum is there, and i think seg and qntm have been eating wdc's lunch. and mxtr of course. just my .02 -

QNTM's earning may be closer to WDC's. But as a company, QNTM is really closer to SEG. I am not saying WDC's earning won't affect
QNTM tomorrow. It probably will. But I won't be worried. In fact I
may buy more on weakness. After this month's earnings from DD, we
should be able to figure out haves and have-nots ...

We all share the same $30+ sentiment. I hope the management did it's job and act responsibly towards the shareholders (us) and erase the disaster since Nov. 97.

Steve,

It appears that WDC is behind the others in the getting tough department(cutting overhead). Go to www.quicken.com and do a comparison on QNTM, SEG, and WDC. Revenue/employee is one of the categories (QNTM 800,000, WDC 260,000, SEG 100,000) that caught my attention. I will be surprised if QNTM comes in below .30 There has been good support in the high 26's so I don't see any downside even if they only beat street by a couple. I'll raise the bar and predict .35 - disclaimer: this prediction and 75 cents will get you a cup of coffee...
Anybody else want to take a stab?
