CNBC, Joe Kernan said (not verbatim) That Ascend is less of a story now that it is being acquired by Lucent....the stock is tracking Lucent's stock price. Had they missed the estimates, that may have caused Lucent to take another look at what they are paying for them. Linda P.S. Quote.com shows that ASND was trading at 89 7/16 and 89 1/2, but, this was before the earnings announcement
