I would agree with Giancomini that its just a blast of hot air. I am currently at the Novell Global Partners forum and there was absolutely no mention of a problem or change in strategy between the two groups. I will actually be hearing from two Tivoli reps that are also here about what this is all about.

This is very likely nothing but a reporter that caught some off-the-record and unofficial statements from a guy in Tivoli. Personally, I wouldn't want to be the Tivoli guy reported in the article.

Re:Tivoli and Novell

"This article was Much Ado About Nothing"

The article was written in such a way in order to be perceived as Tivoli now moving away from the partnership with Novell...

I do not want to see a letter written by the head of Tivoli Europe and some CIO to PC Week.

I want to see Novell people STAND UP and set the record straight that the partnership is indeed STRONG...and the writer fired or reprimanded in such a way that he will forever understand that such BS will not be taken lightly...

Novell has a history of not replying forcefully to FUD from all directions. Instead they do nothing or may just issue a statement and bury it somewhere in their website.

See my point?

George

<<The head of Tivoli in Europe and the CIO of the customer beta site have drafted a letter to PC Week UK in which they strongly refute the statement by the Tivoli manager and report that the NDS integration is fully supported by Tivoli and going well.
I will post the letter to this site, once it appears in PC Week UK.>>

Thanks for posting this.

Giacomini,

<<This article was Much Ado About Nothing>>

Thanks for your clarification. I had a feeling that this Shakespeare Comedy/Tragedy would really turn out to be a "Comedy" play in the end.
