abraves: Hummmmm I don't know,why you worried? If it is any consolation to you I am not,then again I am in Dell for the long term not just for the earnings run,there is a difference you know.

abraves, Microsoft said IT spending on NON-Y2K might decrease, such as sofware. The implication is that IT spending on Y2K will continue to be strong (e.g. upgrade older PCs). Good news for the boxmakers like Dell.
