YOU GOT IT! YES, THAT WAS THE REFERENCE! Despite all the hype about "Trekkies," there are so few people who are not weirdies who recognize some of the wonderful references. Such as, "I'm not a ________, I'm a doctor." IMO, the only good thing about the first Star Trek movie was the end--it was the super orgasm of a life time. The later ones recognized the it was not the weird FX that drew people, it was the relationships.
