Ha ha, no way would I buy puts on Microsoft.

I am buying puts on some second and third tier semiconductor stocks. All tech stocks will fall when the Nasdaq goes south, but I never put AOL, Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, Lucent (which are my core holdings). I tend to puts on the high priced weak lower tier midcap stocks, because they tend to be the first ones to crack.
