Aha, but that day probably WILL come in calendar 4th quarter of this year due to the Y2K I.S. spending freeze which is sure to hit by then, if not before. That is, if you listen to the MS CFO and others including Intel and HWP. And what about after Jan 1st, 2000 if there are disruptions of any kind due to Y2K?

"Freeze" means DOWN sequentially and YOY.

Unearned Revenue will continue to go up as long as MSFT keeps
growing. There is always more going into the account than coming
out(being recognized as revenue). I think this will only reverse if
MSFT starts reporting reductions in Total Revenues year over year.
I hope that day does not come.
