Swordsman,

If those that sold today were cut to the quick by your words, then perhaps they doth cut too easily.

Or perhaps, thou doth desire to cut too deeply, to see who is frightened by a bit of blood, to see what armies thou can raise against the king. But I question who would want an army that sways so easily. The next loud voice may find your head, good Swordsman. (Alas, we knew him but little.)

Maybe, instead of random - and oft bloody - swings of the sword - thou should speak with the king himself, unless it doth not suit your purpose.

It is oft said that he who speaks too loudly believes he would be understood merely by the volume of his voice, and perhaps, he who shouts raises his voice against the king, who need not proclaim so loudly to be understood.

Speak in private with the king, I beseech thee, before the suspicion of tyranny raises its serpentine head. And, if your counsel still leaves you troubled, then speak to the people, letting them first know that you have spoken with Him, and yet still you remain unsettled.

Regards, and please, Call me Bill

(And forgive me, tolerant readers, I went to the theater this weekend.)
