Same boat as you. The profit from the purchase of the shares I sold did not show up in my account until the next day. I wish they told you how to remove the purchase from your portfolio, so you could tell me how to do it. E*Trade does have growing pains, but I believe they all do. IMO E*Trade is still the best out there and much better then calling a broker. I enjoy doing my own trading. Maybe I have been lucky so far, my trading with E*Trade at times have been slow, but I can still trade. My two computers are Pentium II - 350 & 450, maybe they help.
