Gary,

I never noticed that until now that the QP2 program puts a space in the day that is a holiday. I think the QP1 prog didn't do that and I am not used to that. Is there a way to take those spaces out where there is a holiday present and just leave it a continuous stream of data with out a day saying 'NA'?

Gary: I'm having problems outputting the market indexes to Metastock files. The symbols show up when I scan for the indexes, but I get the note below when I try to output them with QP Meta.exe. This has never happened before.

Gary: Problem fixed. The reason the symbols couldn't be outputted to Metastock was the colon in the print statment -- for example:
!AM-D:

I was running this scan to get the indexes:

output="indexes.lst";
exchange indexes;
println Symbol, ": ", description;

The print statement added a colon to the symbol, so QP Meta.exe couldn't read it properly.

The scan works like this:

output="indexes.lst";

exchange indexes;

println Symbol;

All -

We have discovered that there may be some errors in the data files that we delivered with release 2.1. If your 2.1 program cd is dated January 22 to January 26,1999, then you should get a new one.

If you need a new cd, send an e-mail to info@quotes-plus.com
