Exactly. Free shipping is way cool. Who wants to pay 5 bucks shipping on a 25 dollar item?

Also think that the new PR firm will make a big deal of many things. I am expecting seperate news releases for Yahoo deal, MSFT deal, E-Trade deal and Amazon deal. Also expecting seperate releases when each foreign country gets a site in their native tongue.

Fragrances were the biggest selling Christmas gift in 98. . .

Yeah, there are definitely products and services that lend themselves well to e-commerce. And there are those that do not.

Personally, I would want to scan a book I was interested in buying [wanna make sure it has plenty of pictures]. Likewise, there are only a few apparel brands that I would purchase without touching. . . Eddie Bauer being one of them. Victoria Secret another. The majority I would not...no more than I would buy shoes over the net.

Electronics lend themselves well as do auto parts, hardware and vitamins. Gifts and appliances are ok. . . .Suits and ties and dresses? I would not.

There will soon be a day of reckoning, with regards to e-commerce companies and projected revenues. For now, it is probably safer to avoid retail and focus on the pure internet plays.

Internet communications companies were hot today. . .there are plenty of 2nd tiers that should follow suit if trend continues.

What a month.

in PRFM long, and quite hopeful! very happy to see this stabilize at 7 range today, and now all we need is a talented PR firm to get the word out in time for Love Day!! can make a great story for e-commerce....a lot better than another (yawn) auction site...:)
