Once again, anyone know SI's paid 'headcount'?

Here's why I ask. Every new group of 10k SI "lifers" looks like this:

10,000 x $200 = $2mm

Thus,

100,000 x $200 = $20mm

And

500,000 x $200 = $100mm

The marginal cost of "fulfillment" is vanishingly low. (Better model than eBay!)

So there is perhaps $100 million up for grabs. Now, nobody pays for YHOO message board access, so the signal-to-noise ratio is low. All GNET needs is the high end. (To borrow a slogan from the "Original Ray's" Pizza..."You've tried the rest, now try the best!")

So the question is simply this: How many subscribers are we entitled to?

I stay away from YHOOs internet board. It poisons the mind and clouds my judgement. Fear and greed is all you see there. Only on really slow boards do you get any good discussion at YHOO, MF, or any of the others.
