>>>Former IBM friend involved in MQSeries solutions told me this evening that IBM has
been regretting the NEON deal. He implied that it was mainly because they were hard
to work with (both with customers and IBM) but I can't get any more than this out of
him. So does anyone else have any similar tidbits? I am also wondering if anyone knows
specifics of the NEON deal as far as length and exclusivity?<<<

You have a smart friend :-) Hard to work with is the understatement of the year I hear. Also that IBM very happy with HDIE folks. NEON in general does not have a great reputation on the service side. Good products, not service. HDIE has both.

Chris: Re: "length and exclusivity"

Interesting point. Depending on the length of the NEON contract, HIE could sooner or later have all of IBM's attention.

Does anybody have contacts in the know that could dig this info up for us?
