Michael, re He kinda said he does't think this will go to court because of the long process, and Q's IPR position. Did anyone else pickup on that?

What I heard was that Irwin thinks the Ericy court case, which is about Ericy claims that their patents apply to IS-95, will not hold up resolution of the VW40/cdma2000 3G controversy. He as much as said that Ericy is under a lot of pressure from NTT and many GSM operators to move rapidly and that this pressure is what is driving the convergence movement. He did hint that the case may never get to court when he used a phase like "if it isn't all settled by then [the court date]"
