Since K7 uses at least a piece of new technology, 0.18um process, I don't believe AMD can execute at all.

This 0.25um process is supposed to be somewhat perfected by AMD, but we sadly found out that there was a mask problem which translates to that AMD is still struggling with 0.25um after a year. Mask problem? Does any one really believe that crap?

Scum, I hope you know that I respect both you an Paul greatly, but that last comment of yours about jerry, is a bit ridiculous.

Truw, Intel is a formidable competitor, but wait a minute about AMD.

It's run by the 3 stooges... !!!

A lot of the problems of AMD are SELF-INFLICTED, with no intel involvement whatsoever...

1- bungles product launches, and of course, always late
2- Manufactuting incompetence, such as yields (last year) and
now a "mask problem"

There is ALWAYS another excuse for AMD, why a quarter is "no good"

If they had Intels management & manufacturing capability (competence?)
they at least would be profitable, smaller and in good health.

Scum,

They really are exhibiting appalling incompetence, with no help from Intel

Take care
Jean
