Trippi, Doug,

It was the fact that AKLM made a low that was higher that 11 13/16 that was a technical buy signal. The next day, the stock gapped down to open at...
...
...11 13/16.
That wasn't supposed to happen. Whenever the events that immediately follow a short term buy signal fail to "gel", that should be taken, at the very least. to be a huge caution signal. More often than not, it's a sell signal. Hmmmm...new chapter; "How to Use Certain Price Activity Following a Buy Signal as a Sell Signal"

Anyway...That 11 13/16 area is going to be sticky again in the future but there's no technical reason to believe the stock will not return to that price in 4 weeks or less. From there, the chart will be at a telling crossroad.

AKLM

Trippi,

Yeah, I got out, but only because I had bought back in at 10 3/8, missed two opportunities to take profit on the bounce (which is why I bought it), then essentially sold after admitting to myself that I had passed up the opportunity I had bought in on, and was essentially sitting fallow in a stock that will PROBABLY go back to the 11s, but which could CONCEIVABLY get taken to the cleaners. That left me with a negative risk/reward ratio of anywhere from 1/5:1 to 4:1 (I don't see any real support much above the 6's), which meant that getting out was a no-brainer.
But again, I hope to join you in the future as an AKLM owner. I've bought back in twice now at prices significantly higher than I sold on, something that's normally hard for me to do.

Ivan

Dougr and Trippi:

Thanks for the reply on AKLM. First reaction was to sell when you did Doug, but thought " can't be that bad". Now I know why they call you the big Voo! Think I'll hang on for a while with you Trippi.

Thanks also for HNV and ASTN. Got to get MLIN going now.

Regards,

Doug O
