NW,

I think it bodes well for Techstocks for '99. If I wasn't fully invested right now, I would be looking at getting a decent holding in Internet "bricks and mortar" companies like BRCM, CSCO et al.

In conjunction with this good news from Road Runner comes the other news that CPQ is the worlds second largest modem vendor...

Hmmm, to paraphrase the immortal El: "I LOVE THIS STOCK!!!!"

NW,

I know nothing about Road Runner other than your post. From the players involved they have to be much more than a simple ISP, which is more down the road that I believe CPQ will follow. It appears, though, that CPQ is already involved here....so not the "blockbuster" announcement everyone will be looking for. They will probably be looking to expand on this concept, however. I wouldn't be surprised to see Time Warner and MSFT involved somewhere, if not right in the middle.
