Dale. Market Gems stocks are for all kinds of traders, daytraders, swing traders and investors. The newsletter has gotten shorter and will continue to cover only about 25 stocks the watch list has 10 to cover sectors that might be out of favor so you can quickly jump to an alternative sector.

I patterned Market Gems after my own trading habits. Basically you can choose to ignore the watch lists or the newsletter if you want..In fact we are thinking of splitting the subscription into two but that is still in 'possibility' phase.. We haven't had really any reason yet to do more than consider it a possibility.

the newsletter is more on fundamental analysis and the watch list is more geared to the swing trader and even daytrader. When I used to subscribe to a stock selection site myself my first questions was how come we have stocks in technology sector and yet the techs are down and the retailers are up. That is the only reason I offer a choice of 10. Some people have 100 stocks they follow daily. I found that when I dropped it to 6 the 4 I dropped were up the most.

You wouldn't want Harrods' deparment store to have all their clothing in blue and white without including all the colors of the rainbow, so I figure we'd offer some extra choices for particularly bad or down days. Anyhow we had a larger percentage of 'hits' this newsletter with fewer stocks so it will continue to shrink and offer the top and best choices. For example we used to have 10 a day and now we have only about 3 earnings plays a day.. Our focus is on research and we like to cater to both the professional trader and the novice. That is why we try to give as much education and strategies as possible.. and the best value for the money.
