Year 2000 fear will only boost the software industry in the next five years, so do not be silly to fright people in the unknown.

Like my company, we already fixed the year 2000 problem in 1998, So I do not expect most companies will wait till the last two quarters to have this problem fixed.
99% of the companies have already have this problem fixed at this moment.
So , lots of companies are buying new year 2000 proved softwares now to replace their old software, that is a big cycle of upgrade. So we will expect a boom when Office 2k, Win 2k were released. We all know they are year2k proved products.

Asia is already on its way of recovery now, not a matter "IF" as mentioned in your previous post !!!!!!!!!

Maybe at the same time all those Y2K companies make all those $Billions they were guaranteed to make?
